The Rescue of the Church
Put very simply, rescue the Church (that is all born again believers who have put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, regardless of denomination) will be snatched out of harms way just prior to the revealing of the antichrist.
A wake up call to the world
The catching away of the Church is not just an evacuation of His children out of harms way, but an essential part of God's endtime plan. It will be a huge witness to God's reality, truth and promise. Many who heard the gospel and were sceptical will immediately realise the truth causing the biggest revival in history, these will be the tribulation saints mentioned in Revelation.
The Time Is Near
As we can see the beast system of Revelation being set up before our eyes we know that the time is near. They are manufacturing the COVID-19 vaccine and have the plans in place to roll it out across the world.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (KJV) My note added in square brackets.
v13: But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
v14: For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
v15: For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent [Precede] them which are asleep..
v16: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
v17: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
v18: Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
The words "comfort one another with these words" is very relevant in the current situation. God can see what is happening, He knows their plans for evil against us. He is not taken by surprise and His timing will be perfect!
