Countdown To The Feast Of Trumpets

One of the highest watch times of the year in Bible prophecy is the Feast of Trumpets, also know as Yom Teruah (day of shouting or blasting in Hebrew).  In Israel it is known as Rosh Hashanah (The beginning or the head of the year).  It is also known as the festival that no-one knows the day or the hour (which reminds of Matthew 24:36 “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”)
 
Yom Teruah is one of the Feasts of the Lord (Moedim – Appointed meeting times or festivals) from Leviticus Ch23.  Each Biblical feast carries special meaning and prophetic symbolism that points to the Jesus and His sacrifice for us. 
 
The feasts are divided into the spring and Autumn (Fall) seasons.   The first 3 feasts of spring (Passover, First fruits & Festival of weeks) were fulfilled in sequence by Jesus’ first coming so it is surely reasonable to believe the remaining feasts will also be fulfilled in sequence by His second coming, the first of which being Yom Teruah.

Many watchmen and  Bible scholars believe that the rapture or catching away of the church is directly linked to Yom Teruah.  (I will provide more information and resources on Yom Teruah later in this post.)

2018 Convergence

This year we have a convergance of many factors that make this years Yom Teruah call for our full attention!

1. The huge military build up in the Middle East surrounding Israel and the tensions between Russia & the USA and also Israel & Iran.
2. This is the 70th year of Israel as a nation. We are the fig tree generation, the generation that will not pass till all things prophesied in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 be fulfilled.
3. We’ve seen Israel’s capital restored and preparations made for the third temple including Trumps shekel Temple coin.
4. We are approaching the one year anniversary of the Revelation 12 sign that appeared in the heavens the day after Yom Teruah last year.  (Could this have been a one year warning?)

The Battle For Idlib Is On!

Syrian and Russian forces are closing in on the last stronghold of the Syrian Rebels.  At the beginning of the war Assad stated that when he had dealt with the so called terrorists, he would then seek to reclaim the Golan heights. 

Putin is very keen to get the job done, declare a Russian victory and to take the spoils of the oil fields etc.

However, the US & allies want to protect their oil fields and interests as well as the Kurds in Turkey.

Russia have mobilised a massive 300,000 troops for what they are calling a training exercise, and on Sunday, Russia’s most popular newspaper warned of a “direct military confrontation” between the US and Russia in Syria.   Accusing America of “preparing to light the fuse of carnage”
