Is The Coronavirus In The Bible?

In the light of recent events, this is one of the most frequently asked questions amongst the watchmen and women in the Bible prophecy community.

The short answer is 'No'.  Myself or many of my brothers and sisters in Christ cannot find any direct reference apart from the mention of pestilence in the last days in Matthew 24:7 and Luke 21:11.

So how do we process what we see happening across the world?

I'm  sorry to say there is no definitive answer.  All we can do is speculate from a Biblical perspective. (Dependent on your hermeneutics and eschatological viewpoint.)  I will do my best to deliver some views along with my own opinion.  Please note that I am just doing my best to join the dots with what we are seeing, according to 1 Corinthians 13:12 "We see through a glass glass darkly."  If you have a different view or opinion that's fine, it is not a salvation issue and should not cause contention or divsion amongst the body of Christ.  We will all find out soon enough what direction things are going to go!

Is the virus judgment from God?

It could be in the fact the God has allowed this to happen but, I don't believe He caused it.  He has certainly used pestilence in the past for judgement (48 occurrances in the Old Testament) but His wrath in Revelation is with plagues not pestilence. 

Did the virus occur naturally or was it man made in a lab?

There is no way to verify this without all the facts and knowledge required and there are so many conflicting reports online that the truth is hard to determine.   However, it is highly suspicious that the epicenter was so close to the Wuhan Institute of Virology biosafety level 4 laboratory and also that the timing with the Chinese New Year ensured the spread of the virus was worldwide!  See this article by professor Fang Chi-tai of the National Taiwanese University (www.taiwannews.www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/3880475)

Who would benefit from this from a Biblical standpoint?

In Revelation 13 we read that the beast (Antichrist) will set up a one world economic and religious system which he will use to cause the entire world to pledge allegiance to his global authoritarian system.

We have seen this system being slowly formed over a number of years such as; The United nations, the World Bank, the World Trade Organization and the World Health Organization.  Also, The Commission for Global Governance, created by the United Nations, released a report: Our Global Neighborhood, which affirms a world court, a global tax, and global police force. The U.S. State Department Publication 7277 sets forth a one world police force under the United Nations. When we hear about international law, it is referring to the laws of the international government. When we hear about the World Court, it is referring to the court system that has been created to enforce the laws of the world governmental system.

We have brought the world together as far as we can politically. To bring about a true world government, the world must be brought together spiritually. What we need is a United Nations of Religions.

This current world health crisis could provide the perfect scenario to finally birth the New World Order.  I should also point out that one of the motos of the New World Order secretive organisations is "Order out of Chaos" Firstly to clandestinely cause the chaos and then secondly to provide the solution to gain control.

The financial effects of this crisis is undoubtedly huge and could eventually lead to a complete global economic reset.  If you couple this with the call to ban physical cash because it's use is spreading the virus, you have a new Global cashless society as prophesied in Revelation 13:16-17 (16) "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

What about the mark?

The Greek word used for "mark" in the Revelation 13:17 text is "χάραγμα" which according to Strong's concordance means "a scratch or etching."  To me this could indicate a tattoo or implant under the skin.

What about the Beast (Antichrist)?

Corona means "Crown" in Latin. So could this current crisis which has been labelled a PANdemic (PAN being the devillish honed goat of the occult) lead to the crowning of the Antichrist?

The crown you see in the image is to be presented to the Jewish moshiach (messiah) on his arrival in Jerusalem.  Sadly for the Jews this will NOT be the messiah they have been waiting for.  We read what Jesus said in John 5:43:

I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

However, once the false messiah stands in the third temple and declares himself to be God then they will realise their transgression and Matthew 23:39 states: "For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord."

Israel’s Health Minister: The Messiah will Arrive by Passover (8th April 2020)

When Rabbi Amar Litzman was asked if Israel would be under under complete shut-down until the Passover holiday he replied:

“God forbid! We are praying and hoping that moshiach (messiah) will arrive before Passover as it is a time of our redemption. I am sure that the Messiah will come by Passover and save us the same way God saved us during the Exodus and we were freed. The Moshiach will come and save us all.”
